Susan Sarver earned an MFA in creative writing at Oregon State University-Cascades, a BA in English from Texas Lutheran University, and an Associate of Arts Degree in Nursing from Indiana University-Kokomo. She wrote a weekly newspaper column for two years and has served as a university staff writer/editor for more than ten years. Her work has appeared in a variety of publications, including The Christian Science Monitor, Country Living, and Reader’s Digest, and it has been anthologized in Life Touched With Wonder: The Power of Healing, (Reader’s Digest Association), Chicken Soup for the Romantic Soul, and Cup of Comfort for a Better World.
